Greetings! (& an assignment of sorts)
Welcome everyone in my section of English 110.01!
This is to welcome you to the class blog. If you're not familiar with blogs, this will be a very gentle introduction. If you're quite familiar with blogs -- perhaps you keep one yourself -- this will be quick. A blog is a place where people can write posts that occur in a sequential or chronological order. Each of these posts then can be commented upon by the author and others.
The purpose of this blog is to have an out-of-classroom location to continue our discussions of how we see others in the interwebs discussing our course theme.
As I mentioned in the title ... there's a small assignment attached to this first post. To orient us with the class blog, I'm asking that each member become a member of this blog and post a comment on this post that includes one thing related to the course theme. It might be a link to something you found surfing the web. It might be a memory from childhood. Surprise us, but please do post so that we can make sure we haven't left anyone behind as we've stepped from Caldwell and Denney into the blogosphere.
